2009 Michigan Football Schedule

It seems that things keep getting worse for Rich Rodriguez and the Wolverines. In this article we will discuss the upcoming 2009 Michigan football schedule and uncover what games will be wins, losses and maybe even upsets. This program could use a good season after all the negative attention here recently in the media. Without wasting any more time let’s take a look at the 2009 Michigan football schedule.

September 5th Western Michigan

September 12th Notre Dame

September 19th Eastern Michigan

September 26th Indiana

October 3rd at Michigan State

October 10th at Iowa

October 17th Delaware State

October 24th Penn State

October 31st at Illinois

November 7th Purdue

November 14th at Wisconsin

November 21st Ohio State

Well the thing that sticks out to me looking at the 2009 Michigan football schedule is that they start off with some relatively easy  matchups but finish out the season with a brutal stretch. Those last 5 weeks they play Penn State, Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin and Ohio State. If they come out of that span with 3 or 4 wins most fans will probably be shocked to say the least.

So where do the wins come from on this 2009 Michigan Wolverines football schedule? It’s difficult to come out and straight up call any locks considering that this program seen one of the biggest upsets ever against Appalachian State a few years ago. However I think it would be safe to say that the games against Eastern, Western and Delaware State are all pretty safe to call victories. But all the same this is a very tough 2009 Wolverines football schedule.
