Recipe for a Greek Variation Meatloaf
This recipe does assume you have made meatloaf before and understand the basic idea of it. If you have trouble with this concept, I am sorry for it. Maybe I’ll write up an article giving step by step directions for making a basic meatloaf next. ~smiles~
Half of 1 medium onion, diced small
1 banana pepper, diced
1/4 cup manzilla olives, sliced
1/4 cup Feta cheese
1 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
1 Tbsp chopped fresh oregano
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 lb ground lamb
Italian bread crumbs
Combine all ingredients using enough bread crumbs to bind together.
Shape it as you wish. I usually use a loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray to simplify this step.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
Side note: As things are, it is always best to give all yor veggies a good rinsing before you cook with them. This removed any travel debris as well as any pesticides and such that might have been used. It is also good to expiriment with the portions and spicing on any dish to adjust for personal taste. I generally follow this recipe but on occassion I even add or subtct depending on the varation I am looking to achieve.
