How to have a Hallelujah party instead of a Halloween party

  1. Create a guest list and send out invitations about 10 days in advance.

    A costume is not required, but if you want to wear one it should reflect a Biblical character, a positive cartoon character, sports apparel, an animal, or fruit costume is encouraged.

    Since this is not a Halloween party 2.gif wearing of costumes such as witches, ghosts, magic or monster is discouraged.

    Organize games and activities that show biblical teachings.

    Such as word searches, crossword puzzles, and Bible trivia.

    Make certain the games are age appropriate with small children there is hot potato, coloring, musical chairs, and any other games you can think of.

    Have small bags of candy for the children to take home with them.

    Serve finger food and serve low sugar beverages.

    Have brightly colored cookies or cupcakes for dessert.

    Check with the local Churchs’ in your area to see if they have this event and invite your family and friends to attend.

    This may be a good alternative than having the Hallelujah party at home.
