Rising Actress Rebecca Grant Sweeps America of it’s feet

Rising British actress Rebecca Grant’s upcoming movie “Brothers” set to release on December 4. This will be Rebecca’s first major exposure to the North American audience and it’s going to come in with a bang as she is starring with Hollywood megastars Natalie Portman, Tobey McGuire and Jake Gyllenhaal in the much awaited movie.

Grant has taken television roles in shows such as The Way We Live Now, Kristina, and Other People as well as on the big screen in Flipside and The Other Boley Girl.

Her stage credits include: The House of Bernarda Alba; Who is this Jesus?; Bloodwedding; Why is John Lennon Wearing a Skirt?; Carmen; Roy Hudd’s Aladdin; Bombay Dreams; Mahabharata; Burlesque; One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest; Twelfth Night; The Glass Cage.

One of her most well known roles is as Daisha Anderson she plays a Filipina nurse, but Rebecca is of mixed British, Spanish and Filipino origin. Rebecca Grant has an extremely prestigious heritage. Her father Michael Grant, 12th Baron de Longueuil, a doctor, hypnotist and nobleman, is of English-Scottish and French-Canadian descent. Her mother Isabel moved from from the Philippines to live in Nottingham where Rebecca grew up. Rebecca Grant has two older sisters – model Angela Grant and actress Rachel Grant and a brother – David-Alexander. Her paternal great grandmother; the Lady Ernestine Maude Bowes-Lyon was 1st cousin to the British Queen Mother.
