Robbie Williams

The Beginning

In 1990, a young 16 year old dancer and singer joined a pop group he was to be a phenomenon of colossal proportions, the band was “Take that” and the young man was Robbie Williams. He was with the band for five years.

In 1997 although Robbie was going through rehab at the time, he released over a period three single from an album that received mixed fortunes after sorting himself out and satisfying his record company that he was ok he released his forth single from the album “Angel” this was to become his biggest seller so far. Robbie’s musical repertoire is spread across a wide spectrum and shows what a diverse and talented artist he is, these include Pop rock, adult contemporary, Brit-pop, soft rock, dance-pop, swing revival, dance-rock, and traditional pop in fact you could call him a true showman.

Robbie 35 has always attracted women with his, on and off-stage charm its no wonder, it has been rumoured many times that he is or not is engaged married or just going steady at the time of writing he is with Ayda Field an Turkish-American actress he as know her since 2007 and the two of them have been seen together many times and in fact he proposed to her on a TV show although he claims it was all a joke.

2009 was a bad year for Robbie his worth fell to £80 million, down from £105 million the previous year, now that’s the kind of bad year I would love to have. Robbie is a keen football follower and have many time been spotted at all the big games, he is a keen supporter of Port Vale football club as he grew up in Stoke on Trent very close to the ground. Robbie has sold more albums in the UK than any other British solo artist and has more brit awards including this year award he now is the proud holder of 16 Brit awards and six ECHO awards from Germany he is also quite a dancer, when he was a child he attended the dance school UKDDF in Staffordshire.

Drugs and Booze

Throughout his show business Robbie like many other has had big problems with drugs and alcohol but it looks like he is well in control of it now he also smokes up to 60 cigarettes a day let’s face it with the cost of booze and cigarettes today you need to be a millionaire. For all that Robbie is a very unselfish and chartable man he has been the Patron of the children’s charity the Donna Louise Trust to help terminally ill and life limited kids and he has set up the charity “Give It Sum” in his home town to improve local conditions to the disadvantage.
