Start the Shrimp Parmesan Pasta by cooking 8 oz. of your favorite pasta as you normally would (thin spaghetti or angel hair pasta works well for this recipe).
While your pasta is cooking, melt 1/4 stick of butter in a separate pan (or in a microwave safe bowl).
Once the butter is melted add an 8 oz. can of shrimp, drained, or 1 cup of frozen shrimp, thawed. Saute your shrimp until warmed thoroughly. Frozen shrimp will take longer but it holds up better and usually has more flavor and substance.
Pour your butter and shrimp over the cooked pasta. Mix well until all of the pasta has a light coating.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of Old Bay Seasoning and toss well. If you want a stronger flavor, you can add the Old Bay Seasoning to the shrimp in step three before adding it to the pasta.
Sprinkle Powdered Parmesan cheese over your pasta or for a stronger flavor, use shredded Parmesan cheese.
If you have leftover pasta use that pasta for this dish. Using your leftover pasta will help this meal take only minutes to make. You can steam the pasta to rewarm it or heat it in the microwave for a few seconds. Do the butter, shrimp, Old Bay and Parmesan the same as the above instructions. Steaming your pasta will help it taste fresher.
Serve with garlic bread or cheese biscuitts and enjoy!
