Week 4 – QB Rankings

1. Peyton Manning – Ind = @Jac
As if Peyton Manning and the Colts passing attack needs any help, they get a cupcake matchup this week against a struggling and pretty much awful Jaguars secondary. It is not impossible to imagine Manning throwing for 350 passing yards and 3 touchdowns in this game.

2. Aaron Rodgers – GB = Det
Excellent matchup for the Packers offense at home, but on the downside for Rodgers and fantasy teams, the Packers will likely call a good amount of running plays in this game. Still you simply cannot go wrong by starting Rodgers at home against the Lions. 300 passing yards, 2 touchdowns.

3. Drew Brees – NO = Car
After a tough loss last week, the Saints should rattle off a win at home against the Panthers in this game. Add in the fact that the Saints offense did virtually nothing in the running game last week, and it seems reasonable to once again expect Brees to tally at least 300 passing yards and 2 touchdowns.

4. Philip Rivers – SD = Ari
With a lagging running game in the Chargers offense, there is no denying that Rivers is the way to victory for Chargers. A matchup at home against Arizona should have Rivers eyeing 300 passing yards and 1-2 touchdowns.

5. Tom Brady – NE = @Mia
The Dolphins defense is clearly not bad, but after allowing Mark Sanchez to pass for 256 yards and 3 touchdowns, you have to believe that Tom Brady could be in store for a very good game this week. 250-300 passing yards and 2 touchdowns seems like a good bet.

6. Michael Vick – Phi = Was
There is no denying that Vick is on an absolute tear right now. Combine in the fact that the Redskins secondary has been shredded by opposing passing offenses in the first three weeks of the season to the tune of giving up an average of 325 passing yards per game, and there is no reason to believe Vick will come back to earth this week either. 250-300 passing yards and 2 touchdowns is very likely.

7. Matt Schaub – Hou = @Oak
The emergence of a solid running game has taken some passing attempts away from Schaub so far this season, but on the upside, once defenses start focusing on controlling the Texans running game, Schaub should start to see plenty of passing holes in the secondary. Expecting numbers in the range of 250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdowns is a good bet for Schaub in this game.

8. Jay Cutler – Chi = @NYG
A matchup on the road against the Giants should make Cutler a sketchy starting play for fantasy teams this week, but with plenty of passing attempts likely on tap, Cutler should be looking at a final stat line of 250-300 passing yards and 1-2 touchdowns. Just expect a turnover or two from Cutler as well.

9. Matt Ryan – Atl = SF
Just as Matt Ryan is starting to hit his stride, he gets a home matchup against a struggling 49ers defense that just allowed 250 passing yards and 3 touchdowns to Matt Cassel last week. Ryan is a solid starting play this week, as he should net stats in the range of 200-250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdowns.

10. Mark Sanchez – NYJ = @Buf
After back to back excellent weeks from Sanchez and the Jets passing attack, a matchup against the Bills could very easily keep Sanchez on a roll. If you are a Tony Romo owner and are in need of a spot starting QB this week, Sanchez should be your number one waiver wire pickup choice. 200-250 passing yards and 1-2 touchdowns is possible.

11. Carson Palmer – Cin = @Cle
12. Donovan McNabb – Was = @Phi
13. Kyle Orton – Den = @Ten
14. Eli Manning – NYG = Chi
15. Bruce Gradkowski – Oak = Hou

16. David Garrard – Jac = Ind
17. Matt Hasselbeck – Sea = @StL
18. Joe Flacco – Bal = @Pit
19. Chad Henne – Mia = NE
20. Sam Bradford – StL = Sea

21. Vince Young – Ten = Den
22. Alex Smith – SF = @Atl
23. Derek Anderson – Ari = @SD
24. Ryan Fitzpatrick – Buf = NYJ
25. Charlie Batch – Pit = Bal

26. Jimmy Clausen – Car = @NO
27. Seneca Wallace – Cle = Cin
28. Shaun Hill – Det = @GB
29. Matt Moore – Car = @NO
30. Matthew Stafford – Det = @GB
31. Jason Campbell – Oak = Hou
32. Jake Delhomme – Cle = Cin

Tony Romo – Dal = BYE
Brett Favre – Min = BYE
Matt Cassel – KC = BYE
Josh Freeman – TB = BYE

Ben Roethlisberger – Pit = OUT – SUSPENDED
