The Worgen are wolf-like creatures that will be playable characters for the Alliance once the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion comes out. The Worgen race will have the following racial abilities:
Two Forms: Turn into your currently inactive form (instant, 1.5 second cooldown)
Viciousness: Increase all damage done by 1% (Passive)
Aberration: Reduces the duration of all curses and diseases used against you by 15% (Passive)
Flayer: Skinning skill increased by 15 and skinning speed increased (Passive)
Darkflight: Activates your true form, increasing movement speed by 70% for 10 seconds (instant, 3 minute cooldown)
By choosing the Worgen race in World of Warcraft, you will be able to choose from the following classes:
All of this information was released before World of Warcraft: Cataclysm was released so it is possible that Blizzard might change some of this information before the release of the expansion to help regulate the new classes and make sure that they are not overpowered. By the looks of things, worgen will be a very powerful race that will have many different special features. There are many new features that Blizzard will be releasing with the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion but the release of the goblin and worgen classes is one of the most anticipated. These will be the first new races to be released since the last World of Warcraft expansion, World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade and I am sure that many players are dying to try out the new races. Make sure that you preorder World of Warcraft: Cataclysm so that you can be the first worgen on your server to hit the level cap when the expansion comes out.
