That doesn't mean they can't have a soft side...like our guy Brandon, who has a heart of gold!
Soft At Heart
Brandon Turnbow is a biker and he isn't someone you would want to mess around with.
However, Brandon has a soft spot for animals and he isn't shy to show that side of him. Keep reading because what's coming next will shock you!
Angry Stranger
As Brandon was riding his motorbike on the highway, he noticed that there was a car parked beside the road and a man was leaning into it.
He looked furious and he could hear his shouts. In fact, it seemed as if he was punching someone inside the car. What on earth was going on?
Something Strange Was Happening
At first, Brandon figured that two people had picked up a fight, but he couldn't help his curiosity and stopped his bike.
What if someone was being attacked and needed his help? However, moments after stopping his bike, he saw something terrible.
A Petty Man
Just when he turned off the engine, he saw a dog flying through the air and falling against the concrete of the highway.
The furious driver then slammed his door shut an didn't even bother to check on his pet. Brandon was left in shock; why would any human being ever do such a thing to an animal?
He Needed Help
Without giving it any second thought, Brandon decided to do something about it and approached the person who was abusing the dog.
However, when he was just a few feet away, the man drove away and left the doggo just inches away from the speeding traffic.
Little Jack Russel
Having seen this, Brandon knew that he couldn't walk away so he took matters into his own hands.
As he got closer, he realized that the dog was a little Jack Russell, hopelessly alone.
Outraged
Brandon was outraged and he then vented on Facebook. > "*I was riding out an saw a vehicle pulled over on 171 beating an innocent little white dog.
> I watched in my rear view and saw this guy throw the dog into the air curbside and drive off*," he posted on his Facebook timeline.
A Scared Pooch
Brandon was upset that he didn’t get to talk with the man who had abused the dog, but all he could now think of was saving the pooch's life.
The scared little pooch had been left stranded in the middle of the highway and he wouldn't stop trembling. Poor thing!
He Saw A Friend In Him
Brandon approached the abandoned pooch, hoping he wouldn't run away. He flinched when Brandon first reached out to him and it was obvious that he was dead scared.
After all, under those circumstances, who wouldn't? But seconds later, the pooch caved in and realized that Brandon was there to save him.
Narrating The Situation
Brandon narrated the whole situation during an interview. > "*I jump off my bike and just kneel down beside him and start talking to him. He slowly steps closer shaking like crazy and his breathing was very heavy.
> I take a chance and just fold my body over him to see if he will bite or trust me"*, the man said.
Saving The Dog
Brandon lifted him up and was happy that the pooch was now safe in his arms.
As you can see, the little Jack Russel was feeling comfortable next to Brandon. But this didn't end here. What happened next is incredible!
Starting The Bike
To Brandon's surprise, the dog didn't get scared when the bike's engine started.
It seemed that he enjoyed the loud noise and fast speed of the bike. But what happened next?
Where Did He Go?
Brandon was so outraged about what had just happened, that he started the engine and tried to catch up with the dog's owner.
"I went after the guy just to give him a number one sign", Brandon confessed in an interview.
Going Back Home
So Brandon sped up his bike and went after the abandoner, but half an hour later he decided to give up.
He realized he had no choice but to take the dog home, and so he did. Your heart will fill with joy once you’ll see what they did when they got home!
Forever Home
Brandon drove straight to his home and the tiny pooch fell asleep on his floor. This is when Brandon knew that he just got himself a new copilot.
To make things even more amazing, Brandon had to say this next thing about the dog.
Copilot
> "I try to look back as much as I can to see if the dog was trying to move around or not and surprisingly he actually liked riding", said Brandon.
From now on, it was clear that the dog was going to accompany Brandon wherever he went. And that’s not all!
Happy Dog
The only thing that matters is that the dog went from an abusive home to a loving one.
He always had a big smile on his face! Brandon was thrilled to have a new pet, and you won't believe how he named the dog!
Mr. Davidson
Considering that Brandon is a biker who is a fan of Harley Davidson, it should come as no surprise that he decided to call the Jack Russel "Mr. Davidson".

Isn't it amazing how Mr. Davidson's life changed for the better? The little dog was living a tough life and was used to being mistreated...
...but now his life took an unexpected turn for the better, and all thanks to Brandon.

Living The Good Life
Mr. Davidson got lucky to be saved by Brandon because at this age, there aren't that many families who would adopt him.
Families usually want puppies, not fully grown dogs! The next picture will show you just how Brandon feels about saving Mr. Davidson.
Good Deeds
Brandon says that saving Mr. Davidson was one of the best things he ever did.
The dog always brings a smile to his face and Brandon loves playing with him. Also, Mr. Davidson has become somewhat of a celebrity in the neighborhood!
Celebrity Dog
Each time Brandon takes the pooch for a ride, people always slow down their cars and honk at them, smiling at the sight of Mr. Davidson wearing his goggles.
In Brandon's words, he feels like he's in a movie every time that happens!
Raising Awareness
What's more, this heart-warming experience inspired Brandon to write a song in his honor.
It also drove him to launch Bikers Against Animal Abuse Global, encouraging bikers to take a stance against animal abuse all over the world.
BFFs
Mr. Davidson grew so fond of his new neighbor that he follows him everywhere.
"He is an amazing little dog and he shows me love everyday. He will actually howl like an ole hound dog when I leave for work everyday", Brandon said. Now, this heartwarming story reminds us of a few things that you should know.
Saving Animals
We should take this story as an example of why we should all stop and help animals in need.
Stopping your car and picking up an abandoned animal up from the road is going to change its life!
